Primary responsibility is to perform daily and routine, and preventive and corrective technical maintenance of all broadcast equipment associated with 24/7/365 television operations. Includes maintenance of master control, studio, control rooms, remote production, postproduction, ENG, and satellite distribution systems. Job Description:Television Maintenance Engineer KOIN-TV, a Division of Montecito Broadcast Group LLC, Portland's CBS affiliate in the 23rd market currently has an opening for the position of Television Maintenance Engineer. Responsibilities include responding to station maintenance needs assuring that optimum technical and performance standards are maintained. Valid FCC General Class license or equivalent required. SBE Certification desirable. Requirements: Three years proven experience in troubleshooting and repair of on-air, studio and post-production equipment, equipment installation and support of server based news editing systems, computer systems and networks, master control and production switchers, audio mixers, microwave transmitters and receivers, satellite receivers, routing systems, SNG and ENG trucks. Experience with Avid nonlinear editing systems and working knowledge of SD and HD equipment a plus. BSEE or AAS-Electronic Tech or equivalent training and/or experience.
